Anyways tore radiators and such off getting mad at leak. Seems clamp came a little loose and up rad hose slid up and clamp down, only about 1/2 still holding loosely. So ? now how long are these hoses good for? Thinking I should replace maybe since it's all torn apart. Any thoughts? Also any other hoses I should think about replacing. I'm assuming everything original as records do not indicate otherwise. It's a gl1500 "89" if that helps thank you

Replace a 20-year old coolant hose - heck yeah!!!

If you've got it this far apart - why not.

BikeBandit.com is a good resource that is somewhat close to you (San Diego) for prompt shipping.

I'm gonna poke around tomorrow on it looking at things closer. The little hose connecting the rads at the top came apart as well. Hopefully I can get a heads up on other things to look for as well

Is there a certain size vacuum line I can get at the auto supple if needed? I know if I start looking I'll find other things which can be a pain. I'm planning on my 1st long trip on the bike in june for 2/3k and would rather be safe. Thanks again for any info

I was told that a 1/4" vacuum line is close for the larger line.. A tad bit large maybe for the larger lines. The smaller ones, I don't know.
