I am about to reassemble my drive train after getting my propeller shaft and final drive. My question is, is there any type of circlip or anything that holds the propeller shaft to the ujoint? There was NOT one on there when I took the shaft out. I want to get my Winger back together so I can save some gas $$$$ but I want to do it correctly. Again, is there a type of circlip that holds the propeller shaft at the ujoint.

THANK YOU!!!

The circlip holds the spring on the end of the drive shaft. There is no rigid connection of the drive shaft to the u-joint. The spring at the other end of the drive shaft putscompression on the drive shaft. It is allowed to slip inside the u-joint as the swing arm moves up and down. I just replaced the final drive on my 86 Interstate.
