When she's on the back of the bike. She won't be on board that ofter, but I'd like to be able to chat with her, or ask her if everything is okay. Tried a run today, and she can't hear me over the wind and road noise in her one good ear (no joke, she's got Menear's and is deaf in one side).

So, any ideas for a less expensive system that installing a whole shooting match on my bike?

I don't have an intercom but I did put headphone speakers in my helmet. The wind noise was too much for my MP3 player volume so I got a headphone amplifier for $10 on Ebay. It's a "Fio 3" I believe. There's another one too with adjustable volume. I think it's a "Fio 5".

If you get scared half to death twice, would you be dead?

Check out the bluetooth headsets. They are all over ebay and chatterbox,j&m and others make them. For what you are wanting they will work great and not break your wallet.Plus u can take and make calls while riding if need to.I own a set i bought off ebay for bout 70bucks and they worked great on my 1100. My 1500 has intercom J&m's that i picked up used off ebay for bout 60bucks. But deals like that are few and far between , only reason i bought mine used was seller only used them once on a harley and his wife didnt like em. lol His loss my gain.Good Luck

I've got a Nady PMC-3 you can have.

I think it will fit in one of those small mailers, so what's that...5 bucks to mail it?

Or you can just come over and pick it up, if you want.

Why ain't we ridin'?

I've had these for about 9 months with no issues.

I've used this same model (and still have it) when my wife used to ride with me. It worked good, is simple, and fits your needs. Uses Velcro to hold the headsets inthe helmet so they can be removed when not needed. You can't beat the price on this set either
