This is my humble opinion of the General G-Max AS-03tire. I've had a motorcycle for most of my life so I don't believe experience is an issue.

This tire has been installed for about 300 miles now. I haveadjusted the tire pressure from 40 to 60 PSI. The sidewall says max inflation is 51 PSI. I've had the suspension between 25 and 75 PSI. I currently have the tire at 50 PSI and have Nitrogen in it so the pressure doesn't fluctuate with temperature changes. The shocks are set at 60 PSI.

To me, this tire is too wiggly. With the suspension set as high as it is, the ride is very rough. The wiggle is less in the morning when the tire is cold and worse in the afternoon when the temperature is high. I ride to work so I ride some two lane roads and some interstate.Thewiggle gets worse, (like riding a fish), at speeds above 70 MPH.

I have not ridden two up yet. Not sure the better half will stay on it long enough to get very far anyway.

In conclusion, I will not buy this tire again.

If you have this tire installed and have a different opinion of it, I'd like to hear what you've done, other than just get used, to make it ride-able. I know in the afternoon's when I get to the house, after my 25 mile ride, I'm ready to get off and put it away.

I didn't know you could get a 195/55/16 tire on a 1500. I thought only a 175 series would fit.

I can believe that. That is not a very high performance tire even though they call it "ultra high performance". Also on a 1500 rim it is squeezed in at the bead way too much for the sidewall to have good support. I doubt any 195/55 (can't believe it even fit) would work well on a 1500 stock rim.

It has clearance all around after it's installed. The only thing Ihad to do was to let the air out of the tire to get it between the swing arms.
