I have a leak in my master cylinder, and need prolly a rebuild kit. Problem is I'm trying to leave for a long distance trip up to michigan tomarrow. Is a master cylinder on any bike the same master cylinder on this bike? Can I pull on off my old suzuki? Thanks!!

If you mean the front MC most any Japanese one will work.

Try it out man, if it works for you that's great but check thatyour Suzuki has 5mm double rotors because your interstate sure does, if it goes up the road and stops, go to Michigan, and enjoy the ride.

For what it's worth and if I may be so bold? The current rebuild of the `80, `81, `82 & `83 GL1100STDASPENSTATE can be followed on classicgoldwings.com in a thread called "The plan is to turn 140,000 into 50,000."
