The exhaust pipe cover plate under the driver foot peg is scraped up and needs repainting. Is there a way to buy the matching paint or do I have to have it color matched with a colorimeter machine at the local paint shop?

I don't know the code, but I can tell you it is an easy one for the paint shops to match. Many of us just bring an exhaust cover in and the shops match it easily, it seems to be a generic silver.
When you have the cover off, the back surface may be covered in fine rust. It's a good idea to clean it up and put Hammerite or similar on it.

Colorite doesn't have it. What paint shops are you refering to? I was told it has to be high temperature paint by Colorite.
