Just picked up a set of J&M headsets (5 pin) for the 89 wing. The switch that changes from speakes to headsets works for the radio, but, when I turn on the CB the sound for the CB comes out of the speakers while I can still hear the radio throught he head set. Is this normal?

The switch for changing the CB from external to headset speakers is the right hand knob on the CB itself. Push it in to change from one to the other.

Yes, gford is correct. The 1500 is more versatile in how you can arrange the sound system than previous Goldwings were. I prefer to have my radio playing through the speakers and the CB coming in the headsets.

Just went out and tried it. It works, and if I had looked closer I would have seen the small emblem for headset.

Big Thanks to GFORD
