Just noticed my inherited GL1100 had tape and plastic tie wrap securing toe & heel bracket to shifter, it looks like it is not engaged properly as shifter sits at end of toe & heel bracket opening and activating may disengage ( I cant see ifbent ?).

Since I learned on standard shift how easy is it to convert to this (foot peg)?

If I replace I seen more than 1 floor board parts package, which one would you recommend?

Hi Daaaon, welcome to the forum.

You should be able to findsome inexpensivestock pegs on ebay pretty easily. That would be the easiest way to get it working. Many don't like the aftermarket boards and shifters. Somesay the heel/toe shifter is hard on the tranny. Also, the boards reduce cornering clearance.

Why ain't we ridin'?

+1 on hard on the tranny if you are not real careful about shifting with the heel..
