I replaced both of the lower bulbs today , they do not turn on, fuses are all good. They do not activate with the turn signal either, and wires coming out of them appear to be stock and unaltered. Assuming the relays are bad here but was actually looking at wiring them up so they are on all the time anyway. Can you tell me which wire to splice into next to the bulb so i can accomplish this? Im going to run the wire to the accessory terminal so it comes on with the key....Thanks!!!!

I looked through all that earlier also Stu, but couldnt find which one wire to splice to "at the bulb" and not before the relay if at all possible...Im hoping to do this so if i dont like it at later date can just undo it again...I suppose i could just go ahead and run 2 new wires(+ and -) and solder them in near the light, but didnt know if just running 1 wire up there would activate the lights or not...thanks again...

I don't know if you have the stock alternator or not but it would be a good idea to put them on a relayed accessory switch to turn them off in case of alt failure down the road.
That's what the original owner did to mine.

The bulb sockets sometimes give trouble. Get a multimeter and check if you have power at the bulb sockets when you hit the turn signals. Check the ground while you are there.

Am i correct in that the orange/white or blue/white wires are the positive ones then? and whatever the other wire is will be the ground?

Mark, the wire colors you referred to are the wires colors from the turn switch to the relays for the cornering lights. From the relays to the lights the colors are red/blue and red/yellow with green being the ground. I am attaching a wiring sketch from the service manual.

If the ground wires check out okay, I was thinking of getting the power from the position lights up above. I wouldnt think that those bulbs would draw too much to overload that circuit, but should i run a wire for each side down to each light, or will it be ok to just run the power off of just one of the position lights for both cornering lights? Or should i run new power from the fuse box to power them? Thanks guys!!!
