Ok, so my bike, like I think all 1200's do, shifted like a tractor with a bad clutch, nuetral was impossible to find, and sometimes the clutch just didn't feel right. I've been reading for months about how using Delo 400 oil quiets the gearbox down and makes everything run smoother.

Well, I'm a "I'll believe it when I see it" kinda guy. I've seen it now. !!!!! It's like a whole new bike. No more clunk, no more bump going into first, nuetral is right there every time (ok, more than it was anyway ). Seriously, that stuff makes a DRAMATIC difference! And it's dirt cheap to boot!

You guys win, I'm a convert, I won't doubt you again

Wow .... I neverthought that about 1200s? Mine shifts GREAT and always has since 25K miles. I mean, yeah .... clutchtends to be stictioned a little first pull, like the plates are sticky .... but that frees up fast.

I thought my 1500 Trike was rough because I had had that shift linkage and FBs on it, but after I eliminated all linkage and built a new shift lever that works with the FBs with no linkage, it's also super. I guess I just had that linkage and HT shifter so long I forgot how it shifted with stock shifter. Also probably helped by eliminating excess travel when I tightened up that clamp nut on the intermediate shift shaft on it?

Might try that Delo 400 stuff though, if it's OK with wet clutches?

DELO 400 LE 15W40 huh?

I have an oil change coming up soon, might leave the blend on the shelf and give Delo a whirl! I'm not adverse to better, I just had no complaints before.

IT IS Fine for the clutch. It would not be on here if were a problem. SEARCH IT OUT ON THE FORUM SEARCH BAR AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

Being a truck driver and running a bus company over the years have a long history with Delo. Have seen som eother oils go from good to not so good, but Delo has always worked.Love it in the wing and more. Have even tried the Honda oil, no contest Delo is better.
