Good information guys! I'm glad to see someone has started making the rebuild kit again.

http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/4102/20457 ""This is a fuel petcock rebuild kit. This is designed to replace all of the parts in the petcock that wear out or crack from age. Goldwing 1500 petcocks are known to develop vacuum leaks as they age which causes poor running conditions and fuel leaks. This will fit all Goldwing 1500's from 1988-2000""

Gary should know there are two petcocks for the GL 1500. '88-96 is the early style & '97-200 is the later model. Both have different sized diaphrams & are not inter-changeable....-Rich

I was on to big bike parts yesterday , they were not aware that there are 2 different kits for the 1500 wing , So if you are buying this kit ,check it out as it may not fit your model , they are still advertising them as 88 to 2000 , but this cannot be possible as the earlier 88 to 96 had a bigger diaphram than the 97 to 00 .. I see your point. I hope the one I am shipped is for the 1997-2000.
