Hi a friend of mine has two of the starter reverse diodes missing from the group of five located under the right saddle bag. Does anyone know the part number or a suitable replacement ? I have looked at the parts diagrams and can't be certain.

The diodes are an assembly, not separate parts. Are you sure that is what you need?

Hi Wabo100,

The reverse diodes are a pack. A sealed pack. They are not loose and subject to falling out or getting caught on something (like a tire).

I suspect that at some point someone had issues with this module and replaced it with a "home made" pack which isn't particularly hard to do if you have any electronic knowledge. Diodes are fairly easy to work with.

I would source a good used one that includes the rubber mounting strap if his is missing or damaged.

Hope this helps,
