How long between the first and second compression tests? Was it having a problem when it had 150PSI? Did you see a problem with a valve and what did the cylinder and piston look like when you had it apart?

Wassup guys.. woo woo!! seccond post.. no compression equils a valve staying open all the time, or worse.. the open valve is hopefully just not adjusted properly.. (the or worse) prob has to do with the valve grind or a bent valve.. here's hopin' laters, chuck

Welcome to the forum Mad Dog 60!
150 psi is a pretty good compression. You need to open the throttle wide open when doing a compression check. Seeing as how you did some valve work you need to adjust the valve stem clearance.
You also have hardened valve face, the most that needed to be done was lap them in with some lapping compound.
Did you find the oil control orifice at the top of the jug,in between the cylinder?
Keep us posted on everything,we will get you thru it.

the first test was after I turned the bike over for the first time when I bought it, it only showed 40psi that was when I first ground the valves preasure went up to 150 then when I turned it off and back on tested again and presure was zero, I took the head off and filled it with break cleaner it leaked at the exaust port, I regroung the valves and the leek stoped but this time the presure only went to 90

Valves were leaking? How many miles on the bike?

Honda valves shouldn't be ground.

lapping,

if a valve sticks, that could give you compression issues

82, going over it

had a hog in there for a bit but basically,
back in the saddle after a ~ 24 year break,
at the time, had an oncoming made a left turn deal
