GL1200 1984 bad Ignition switch

Hi guys I recently bought a 1984 GL1200 and it has a bad ignition switch, I have gotten one from ebay but when I removed my old switch from the bike it has 2 connectors on it, the ones from ebay all have 1 connector, talked with Honda and there was a 2 connector switch for that year but they donít have any in stock I have called several dealers and some service shops, I bought a manual to show the wiring diagram but it shows only 1 plug the ignition switch part # according to Honda is 35108-MG9-671 or 672 or 673 or 674 Any help would be nice! I CAN RIDE with the info Ken gave me I was able to rewire my old switch pigtail to my new switch

It probably could be rewired to make the single plug switch work. I'll look into it for you.

Well it will take some head scratching to figure it out especially with the spaghetti wiring diagram I have for the 84. Would be a lot easier with the bike in front of me.

I take it this is an 84 Standard (no fairing)?

Advise given here is free and comes with no warranty "Caveat emptor"
