GL1500. Low volume on satelite radio

I have a 93 1500 and am trying to get my Sirius/xm satelite radio working...I installed a AC adapter and have power to the receiver but the volume is very faint...any suggestions??

Check the volume level on the sat radio in settings.
Make sure the bike radio mute is not on.
Check that you have a fairly clean FM frequency (little or no interference) and matched to the sat FM setting.

All of the above as stated for sure. Also I have a xmfm1 direct adapter it is a must if you have a satellite radio in my opinion, you never have to search for a station. Here is a link to one on ebay to show you.

I have an interstate, fed mine into the Aux setting on mine. Plenty loud. As suggested, check in the menu of your sirius and make sure volume is turned up
