81 petcock rebuild kit

So now the petcock blew out and gas is spewing under load. I called around to a few salvage places and all are telling me they ain't none or to buy a re-build kit. Meanwhile EGADS is selling some real spooky ones for under 20, dealerships are telling me there ain' t no rebuild kits, and the ones that are out there are running 30+. Plus drill bits and new screws nuts bolts and a 20 mile drive for parts. They will sell me a new pet for around 50.
there is no real comment here, just losing my mind, slowly, and venting, pining for Bobs MC in Phx where they have over three acres of bikes, 1/4 of which are wings. Pick your part in under an hour. Change your tire in the lot, and they will mount it. Put a whole assembly on your frame, come back tomorrow.
Just Venting:

outta arizona, wanting to go back and visit,

The petcock from a early wing will work and it can be taken apart.

Here is a rebuild kit, but it doesn't seem to come with the screws.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.
