Bash,

They come up for sale regularly on eBay. So you CAN find them.

All the Gold Wing GL1200s (1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987) use the same brake rotors.

But, there are two different types of rotors depending on the model of the Gold Wing. All the Interstate models (and the 1984 Standard model) use non-vented (solid) rotors. All the Aspencade models use vented rotors which are over twice as thick.

If you find some rotors, make sure they still have some life left in them. The service limit thickness for the Interstate rotors is 4mm. The service limit thickness for the Aspencade rotors is 9mm.

So, don't waste your money buying rotors that are under that thickness.

If the seller didn't advertise or won't measure the thickness for you with a micrometer or other similar tool, don't buy from them. Look for a seller that has measured the rotor thickness and put that info in their ad.

You should be able to find a set on eBay.

Good luck with it.

I wouldn't bother looking on Evilbay as most would be worn out or close to it and across the pond so shipping cost would be an issue.

EBC does make replacement rotors which should last for 100,000 miles or more and as they're made in the UK shipping shouldn't be an issue.

Advise given here is free and comes with no warranty "Caveat emptor"

Where did you get that information?
I looked on Evilbay and they appear to be a flat rotor not dished like the GL1200 rotors, the mounting circle appears to be much larger than the GL1200 rotors and they seem to be solid 5mm(?) rotors not vented 10mm rotors as used on your Aspencade.
