YA lots of people say that to me. Then add wish it could be even further!

Well I ain't been getting out for any big rides yet this year do to some issues, about 200 miles or a bit more been my day limit moslty.
Maybe we'll meet up though when I start runing those 500-900 mile days again soon.

Ya, it's funny sometimes how the smallest wire can keep something BIG from working.
Then again for allot of things like a relay it only takes a tiny wire to trigger it then the relay sucks the big power from battery to power the big device using big wires.
So a little wire breaks and relay does not trigger!

I had allot of 12V stuff wired up to run off a remote control unit. Little stuff ran direct from the 10amp relays in the controller, for the big stuff the controllers 10amp relays only sent power to external 30AMP relays to trigger them which then powered the big stuff.
One day all my big stuff was DEAD but the little stuff still worked.
YEP, I had 1 ground from battery to all 30Amp relays and it busted somehow so none of the 30's would trigger.

Ya, that's probably what happened when I was trying to start the 82.

I got the battery out now again, had to put it back into the 1500.
I think I will try jumping 82 again without the battery and see if that works on it now.

Where is the #3 relay located?

Thanks

I suppose you mean for a 1500, it's in the fuse box, upper right corner.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

I know this thread is pretty old...but didn't stop me from really benefiting from it. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I replaced the reverse switch like everyone said was likely the culprit and it didn't make any difference. Came back on the site to scan for some more suggestions and found the fuse relay problem. Swapped out #3 with #2 and VIOLA is came on and, after sitting for five months, it fired up in about 15 seconds of pushing the starter. Love my '92 Wing and thanks again to everyone!!!
