FYI. if you look at the attached you will see the sidestand and radio share a common ground at the orange gang connector. An issue there would cause both radio and sidestand issues. It is possible that you repaired the issue when you cleaned and lubed that connector. Both of those signals are very light loads and even the slightest movement or improvement might repair the issue for good. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you also.
