I'm amazed at how many riders want to put an alarm or anti theft device on their Wings. Now the OP lives in Ireland so things might be different there but here, you never hear of a wing being stolen. A friend had a dis brake lock on his wing, took off and forgot it was there. Needless to say he didn't get far.
If you do put one on your bike make sure you put a long string on it and wrap it around your grip or somewhere it will remind you to remove it before taking on on the bike.
This might be a better idea. It locks the clutch lever so the bike cannot be moved

The OP lives in Israel. Maybe he needs a lock on his Wing there.

Exactly what I said. I guess they are a lot more expensive over there than they are here. So he probably does need one.
I remember once a new wing owner on a forum was asking what people use for an anti theft device on their wing. I don't use anything,
(I have even left the keys in my bike once in a while)
One guy answered that his anti theft device for his Harley was a motorcycle cover that had "GOLDWING" written on both sides!!

Hi Guys,

I am a relatively new 'Wing owner from Thailand...

Maybe Israel is similar to Thailand, (?), but my problem here is the general public, mainly kids, climbing all over the bike if it is left somewhere in public.
They also take 'token' parts from the bike, (panels, aerials etc.), as it earns the perpetrator 'big face' that they stole from the 'king of the road'!

I plan to put an alarm on the bike, not for the fear of it being stolen but by using a proximity sensor it keeps the little sh!ts away when I am out of sight!

Not to belabor the point Joe, but you typed Ireland as where the guy lives. Should have been Israel. That's all I was pointing out.

I bet that would be fun to watch someone drive off with the lock on.

PS. Your mind might have said Israel but you typed Ireland.

Worked on the "big rigs" for 45 years now just riding my Wing whenever I can. Gets cold in Wisconsin.
