The thought occurred to me, but I've been looking for one of these for a couple of years myself - and after the last couple of rides I know why

I'm going to be getting rid of the beat up '87 that could use another cover soon, but it sounds like you already have one. If anyone wants it PM me - I'm moving soon and need to get rid of it. Won't ask for much over shipping. I've been meaning to take it to a local motorcycle upholstery guy, but then I saw the brand new one.

Have you seen the Saddlemen H573B. It's 87 only. Burgundy. Is that the color you need. But it is just the seat. No backrest.

Are you wanting the drivers backrest, or passengers?

I can't find an actual picture of the Burgundy one.

And I don't know what's up with the CS guy at Saddlemen. Every part number I give him that's listed all over the net, weather it be a seat kit or just a cover, he says is wrong. So either the whole world is wrong or he is,,,lol. So buyer beware.

So Dennis. Are you going to try one of those saddlemen covers. Remember. No backrest.
