Hello everyone... sorry I have been away. Very busy these days.

Here's a question: As I lean deeper into the restoration of my '82 I have encountered this:



This is what mother Honda calls a disk damper:



It is part number 45128-445-630



This part is no longer available.

It appears to be heavy grey gasket material... which I have on hand in quantity.

Can anyone offer as to whether this is a good solution.

I suspect that is all it is, gasket paper. I see no reason it wouldn't work.

same thickness gasket paper is what i used years ago when needed
