Wow! I've never seen an axle nut this tight.

I soaked it overnight in PB and it still won't budge. Box wrench and 3 lb hammer won't even do it.

Any ideas before I get out the Dremmel?

I would cut it out, because if it was over torqued once, I think it would not be safe to use that critical part anymore.

Socket breaker bar and a pipe if necessary. Cutting is my last choice.

Worked on the "big rigs" for 45 years now just riding my Wing whenever I can. Gets cold in Wisconsin.

And... did you remove the cotter pin from the castle nut?? Just wondering... ;-)

I may or may not have made that mistake, once, a long long time ago... hee hee...
