Head lamp GL 1800

Last summer in early July I changed both head lamps. A few days ago a friend told me one is out again. I just went to Autozone and got a single bulb for $27 bucks. I cannot believe it that it is rated for 85 Hours only.
Any one has some sort of advice?

I make sense all the time. The problem is you only listen intermittently

If you are going to run stock bulbs go to Honda, they list for $22 and will last longer than aftermarket.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

In my country high quality H7 bulbs like Osram or Philips brand retails for around 10 $ and you can choose from "standard" , "+ 30 %" (+ 70% is a bit more ) and " long life".

The winner is the man with most tools !

Were you buying Sylvania Silverstars- the 30% brighter bulbs... at a serious cost of lifespan~

I always suggest aux LED lights, forming a Triangle of Light with the headlights.
10 watts LED = 150 watts Halogen output, just one aux LED is way brighter than both OE lights.
Make cars notice... I am not a car!

I think the OEM bulbs use a filament support in the bulbs. This keep the vibration and bumps from destroying the bulb.

Why, in this day and age, bulb life is an issue is beyond me.

And they want to send people to Mars?
