User configurable does not necessarily mean does what I want.
Sort of like lifetime guarantee...mine- yours- the companies?

To program you touch 2 wires together x number of times to do different program modes and can be finicky.
With the small thumb switch its like sending Morse Code.
That's exactly what I did and ran the switch up into the trunk for easy access.
If you're using it just for the spoiler lights, it needs to be tied in at the spoiler/brake light control module. The yellow wire there is the one to the spoiler lights.
