Installing rear speakers.

Hey everyone. I bought my 2006 Goldwing and it has no rear speakers. I have bought a set but have no idea what I need to do to install them. I haven't bought a Chilton or Haynes repair manual yet and was wondering if anyone could help me with instructions and pics on what I need to do to install them? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I have posted instructions for rear speakers on A 97. Not sure if this would help on a 06

An 06 should have came with rear speakers. Here are instructions for an 05 http://www.bigbikeparts.com/catalog/...52-/52-717.pdf

BTW, don't bother buying a Chilton or Haynes manual.

That is what I have been told Dave but mine doesn't have them. And why not the manuals? I have a Chilton that I bought for my '99 and it helped me a lot when I was working on it. Thanks for the instructions and I am thinking that the wiring is already there as I can see them going into the speaker pods on each side. I think all I will have to do is install the speakers and plug them in.

Are you sure they are not there? One common problem with the rear speakers is that the wire harness get damaged at the trunk hinges. If yours are indeed missing, then the previous owner had to remove them. The '06 did come with rear speakers.
