Progressive rear shock leaking oil

My 1500 is leaking I think shock oil after a hard bottoming out.are progressive shock rebuildable,should both be done together?

Love chasing white lines but they are difficult to catch.Hate drivers with no STOPLIGHTS.

Yes they are rebuildable , progressive have spare parts . I would repair the one who is in need .
If you turn it upside down and compress it a little you will se a wire "snap ring" , - remove that one and you can take the rest apart .

The winner is the man with most tools !

Here is how I did mine. Parts are listed on the last frame.
If you do one you might as well do both at the same time.


I would guess the 1500 would be the same.

Thanks,I was thinking on just taking it to a shop but that looks simple.
