Source for Braided Brake lines?

Our local guy here on the forum is no longer doing HEL brake lines.

I'd like to keep the linked braking system on my '86 Aspencade and the stock rubber lines are tired.

New lines straight from HEL are $147 or so.

Are there better deals out there for lines while keeping the linked braking system active?

Its been a few years, but I got braided brake lines from these guys:

https://spieglerusa.com/brakes/brake...line-kits.html

At the time, the prices were reasonable and delivery was fast.

Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

$197 from Speigler, $179 or so via other retailers online. Still $30 higher than the HEL ones.

I wonder if the Galfer kit retains the linked system.....

Ordered from Helusa.com.

Found a discount code for 10% off, total was $132.30 shipped for front and rear lines, retaining the linked braking system.

If anyone wants DOT approved brake lines for crazy cheap prices, I sourced some for a different bike, from Amazon.ca. The American Amazon probably has the same thing. Do some research and you'll save a bunch of cash!

I was so happy to be on my 'Wing that I patted her tank and was laughing in my helmet!

A link would be helpful. I just looked and found nothing for any specific bike.

Lopeha on here used to deal in some high quality SS brake lines for GL's, I don't know if he still does, Dave0430 might know?

For what it's worth and if I may be so bold? The current rebuild of the `80, `81, `82 & `83 GL1100STDASPENSTATE can be followed on classicgoldwings.com in a thread called "The plan is to turn 140,000 into 50,000."

No, he gave it up, after his source dried up.

For that price you need to measure the length of hose/hoses and order the correct one(s).
