windshield

Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement windshield for my 82 Goldwing?
Sure would like a recurve, doubt that will happen tho.

'Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, and trees.
It is much more difficult to fly there.

You didn't say if your Gold Wing was a standard model (no fairing) or an Interstate or Aspencade, with a fairing. That will make a difference regarding windshield selection.

If your bike is a standard model National Cycle makes a lot of nice windshields to pick from, here:

http://www.nationalcycle.com/

National Cycle windshields are made of polycarbonate, which is much stronger and more shatter resistant than acrylic windshields, and are more expensive because of that.

Slipstreamer makes a lot of nice windshields for naked bikes as well. Theirs are made of acrylic, and as such are less expensive. Here:

https://slipstreamer.com/

If your bike is an Interstate or Aspencade, I like Memphis Shade windshields, here:

https://memphisshades.com/

I have a Memphis Shades windshield on my 1987 Aspencade. It has an air vent and it has black shading across the bottom. I'll see if I can attach a picture of it.

Like he said!

If you have a Interstate or an Aspencade with a Hondaline fairing, a direct replacement is a slipstreamer, eBay have them all day long for about $80.

Unfortunately, they don't make one 2-4" less than the standard size, which I would dearly love to have.

I have to stand up to get any air on me.

For what it's worth and if I may be so bold? The current rebuild of the `80, `81, `82 & `83 GL1100STDASPENSTATE can be followed on classicgoldwings.com in a thread called "The plan is to turn 140,000 into 50,000."
