12 volt power

Had an 06 and I was able to remove the inner liner of the trunk and found an OEM plug that I could get power allowing me to install 12 volt outlet in the trunk. It was behind liner in a boot. Does the same apply to my 2016 audio/comfort? I already installed the clutch side cubby one. Thanx
