GL1800 seat

Hi, just got a new(to me) Ď14 GL1800. Itís really nice except for the length of the drivers portion of the seat. the seat is too short where I've shown on the pic. I'm 6'3" 275. I'm not sure whether to increase the height where your "butt" sits or lower where your crotch rides. Any suggestions? Thanks.Steve

Cheapest quick fix to try, get a "beaded seat" for $15.

It will keep you from sinking into the seat and sticking to it just that little bit, raising you up about an inch and allowing you to sit slightly further back.

In any event, if it doesn't fix the entire problem it provides much better ventilation for the boys.

That appears to be a custom seat. Some kind of pad under you might show you which way to go.

that Utopia backrest is way back from where it should be.
that tells me it is a custom seat and 2" closer to the front than it should be.

get an upholstery guy to recurve the seat for you and remove 2" of foam and let you sit further back.

Find an 18 with a stock seat and give it a sit. It may fit you better.

I had the same problem, I had a local upholstery shop remove most of the "butt rest"
