97 wing exhaust hot

97 wing engine left exhaust a lot hotter than right side. engine has no power stalls out then runs fine then stalls out again.
new fuel pump new vacuum gas valve new fuel filter gas cap ok . Carbs rebuilt ran fine 3 weeks now doing same thing again.
Any ideas?

Your engine needs four things to perform well.

Fuel, Ignition, Air and Breathing.

Ignition, Air and Breathing would not cause just one side to run hot.

What's left.....?? Could it be carburation....??

Thumbs up 97 wing hot exhaust solved

Improper float setting and two bad vacuum pistons with split diaphragms. Guess that's what 22 years and lousy gas does. Runs like a watch now. Thanks DBohrer

Did you peek in to see if the slide is stuck open while acting up?

Worked on the "big rigs" for 45 years now just riding my Wing whenever I can. Gets cold in Wisconsin.

They worked looked normal when you cracked the throttle so never gave it anymore thought.
