Will what work on a 2000 valkyrie?

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

IF you are referring to the "shifter pivot" found at Cyclemax , you may be able to adapt it to the Valkyrie. On the Goldwing it uses one of the engine protector mounting bolts for the pivot to bolt up. I have no Idea if the Valk has a bolt in this same position.
If you check on VRCC I believe there is information on building a similar setup for the Valk.

I just looked at VRCC and someone has developed the "Jersey Shifter Brace" for the Valk.

Thanks, I had seen the Jersey Shifter but I just like the looks of shifter pivot a little better.

I have used the shifter pivot on my 1500 Wing. It is a very nice bit of machine work and does indeed take out the slack. As I mentioned I just dont know if it will bolt directly to a Valk. You might be able to craft the mount point if the Valk does not have on in the correct place.
