1985 Aspy. Gear selctor

I have a 1985 GL 1200 aspencade. Digital dash. With a gear selector that tells me what gear I'm in. Gear number 2 does not display and it is hard to get the neutral (N) to display. All of the other gears Display just fine. Any ideal where I need to look to fix these problem? It is no problem to ride that way but I just like everthing to work. Roger H.

Probably the gear position switch inside the trans front cover but you could check the connections.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

If I disagree with you it's simply because you're wrong.

You say inside the trans front cover. Do you have to remove engine to get to that?

No, you do not.
