Arranb,

I have had tremendous results finding "unobtainable" parts using the "salvage yard network".

Google the phrase "Motorcycle Salvage Network". The results will give a half dozen sites where you enter your Make/Model/Year/part you need/ and then your email address in the "salvage yard network". HUNDREDS of salvage yards belong to the "network" and are alerted that you are searching for the part and they'll check their "inventory" for it. IF they have the part, they send an email to you saying they have one in stock. You contact them for the price and pay the shipping. IT WORKS GREAT!!!

I had good luck with the one called MrCycleParts, , or something like that. But any of the others could work good too, , ,just dunno

I've had salvage yards email and say they do NOT have the part, but if it comes in, they'll notify me, , ,and that's after I already bought the part from a different salvage yard.

I don't know that it is 100% effective, , , but in my case it worked out very well, , and its worth a try.
