1994 Goldwing SE 1500 passenger footrests

Hi,
Does anyone know how to reinstall passenger footrests or know of a DIY voice? I looked in the manual and with the information there, I don't get it. The problem is that I took them off 4 years ago when I just purchased the bike.

Thank you
Frank

Each footrest is attached with 2 Allen Head bolts... hidden behind the rubber accordion dust cover (which you can usually just slide up/aside to access the bolts.

The footrest also have a Chrome Cover on the bottom, attached with 2-3 screws.

Note that the foot rests need to be in the "Up/Raised" position, in order to access the 2 large allen/socket bolts

You should be aware that both chrome covers are the same but, when installing them the screws are placed in the front two holes.
