Clutch Slave Cylinder

I have noticed a small leak that appears to be coming from the slave cylinder. I have read the previous posts on here and am confident that is where the issue is coming from.

My question is should I try to rebuild the slave cylinder or just bite the bullet and get a new one from say Partzilla? The new route will cost about $113.00 which is about 4 times or so higher. I am just wondering if the additional cost is worth the frustration with not having to clean up the old slave cylinder and possible having issue with getting everything back together. I am all for saving money but piece of mind has a cost as well.

Thanks for your input.

Rex

Rebuild is easy and you can use the money you save to take a nice ride...

...or buy your wife something pretty.

My opinion would be repair kit for the existing slave cylinder. Did one on mine today and it works like new now. Cost me $23.00
