Windscreens

Which is the preferred aftermarket screen for the
2016 goldwing? Need a somewhat taller screen
That will reduce wind buffeting.

if you can't make the current windshield suit your needs,

please investigate www.Madstad.com

I put one on my 1800, and wish I had done it years ago, would have saved me a lot of money.

want it low on a nice spring day? loosen two screws and lower it down to the bottom.

Icey cold sleet hitting you in the face?
Loosen two screws and pull it up over your helmet.

In all cases, the screen is adjustable "front to back", that is, it tilts.
you must experience this screen to understand how great it is.

CycleMax is the only vendor .

https://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/gl1...dshield/330530

Read the details on it at the link.

This is an adjustable windshield. It is made by Madstad Engineering and is designed to replace the stock factory windshield and provide smooth air, clean wind protection with no turbulence.

Have you tried opening the vent a little? That will equalize the pressure behind the screen and it helps with the buffeting.

just how did you determine that???? I gave you a link to the product.

https://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/gl1...dshield/330530

CycleMax Sells every model of the Madstad windshield that is made, and are the only vendor for the 1500 models.

just follow the link, it goes straight to the gl1800 Madstad windscreen.

Look at this link, all I did was type 'madstad' into their searchbox, and it shows all of the different bike models for Honda Goldwings and F6b

I didn’t use your link , just went to there website,
And it wasn’t listed, did a search on there website and all that was listed for a GL 1800
Was national cycle, and as far as opening vent,
I ride with vent open all the time.

Have a look at this page, it lists a few more windshields: https://cyclemax.com/gl1800_other?cmx=76&start=200
Some are special order.

you don't say which website?

if you meant www.madstad.com,
you have to enter your bike info, make, model, year, etc....

stick with CycleMax as I provided.
no way to miss it.

IF, you want air in your face, Madstad can do that for you instantly.
if you don't want air in your face, you just change the tilt, or raise the screen.

it is the most advanced screen on the market.
it can satisfy every one.

I do NOT miss that vent, the vent is useless for me, can't even feel the air from it, because I am ATGATT with heavy touring mesh jacket, touring pants, gloves, Shoei helmet. IF, I want air, I change the screen and get all the air I want.
