    This is getting exasperating....it doesn't show that it's posted. Then it does. Then it doesn't again. Hope you can make sense of it.

    I'm not going to continue this in a forum setting. If you want to tap into your harness, instead of taking it off the battery, that's your choice. It's your bike and you can do whatever you want with it. With my blessing. It's just cleaner and you stand less of a chance of frying the main harness. It's also the considered opinion of professionals in the field. (i.e.Dave and others). You have to be more specific with your posts. A lot of the forum members don't understand wire size, amperage and heat. Someone is going to tap their fog lights into the turn signal poser, and jack up the fuse because it keeps blowing. They'll let the smoke out of the wires and you'll be the bad guy.

When you post, you need to be more specific about loads. Because sure as hell, some moron is going to tap the 55 watt fog lights into a front poser wire, then bump the fuse up 'cause it keeps blowing, and let all the smoke out of the wires. And you're going to be the bad guy.
