I won't be legal to ride by then...too bad. Hopefully by May 1st I'll have my endorsement, then it's a few months of practice for me. Nice huh? I'll be all good to go just in time for winter storage of the bike. (Poor planning)

Sounds like a fun ride for a good cause. I'll be there if my schedule permits, which it looks like it will.

Does this mean you and your daughter will not be attending the WCWJAMR?

The "Mother" in me thinks she won't be allowed on the bike until she's 30.

In all reality if the bike's mechanically sound (still don't know) and if I can ride it without too much trouble and if I get front crash bars andpassenger arm rests I don't see any reason why we won't be tooling around together by August. I do not want to make any long trips by myself - or by myself with her - so I'll have to get one of these Oregon ridersto take pity and let us join in on the road trip up to Washington. Fingers crossed! First thing's first, I need to get it in the shop and I am at the mercy of the local honda mechanic; who's apparently busy at the moment.

Curious about the arm rests, is that so she won't fall off? If so, it's really not all that easy to fall off. My daughter has fallen asleep on the back of my bike several times. The only thing that went wrong with that is she was holding her CD player in her hand one time. It fell at about 50 MPH and didn't survive the fall. Exavid got a first row view of that.

I'm sure that ubarw, axelwik or oregonwinger would be happy to have you ride along. That's assuming oregonwinger is going. Last I heard that was up in the air.
