Rex, it's still closed on the lower end. Pretty sure there's several hundred miles of good roads still open!

There are far too many good roads out there to be concerned about 1 road being closed.

I will be leaving out of here at Dawn O'clock Friday morning, see ya'll there.

I just looked and Dawn O'clock will be 72* and when I arrive at ES, it will be 78*...

If I waited 3 hours, just add 15-20 degrees to those numbers.

Happy that someone pointed this out. Michele and I mapped out a 6.5-8 hour ride that included the Pig Trail. Given where the road is damaged, it would be several miles of back tracking to make the way around it. Only two options and each adds time to the route already. End up missing dinner with everyone or the auction wouldn't be apart of my plans.

Thanks Rex for the heads up!!!!!! I will try to post the map that I found to get around this area.

Actually it is closed at the upper end, between hwy 215 and hwy 16. Most think that hwy 23 is the pig trail all the way up, it is not. The pig trail is only the part of 23 between I 40 and hwy 16.

If you're going down to Clarksville anyway might as well take 103 up to Oark for lunch.

Change in plans.. Sleepyrider will be driving herself down friday afterwork. She started a new job a few weeks ago and just dosent really want to miss anytime. I think that is great cause she could potentialy make more than me and I want to retire sooner than later. I am packing the puter up now and headed to bed so I can leave in the morning, this at the heels of working 15hrs OT since monday. see you all tomarrow

Sitting at the Greenland, AR truck stop for the night. Will deliver tomorrow then get home to pack. Will be there Friday even if an all-nighter is required!
