I've been lurking here just waiting for you all to choose a date and location. You have chosen Sisters Or. just about the highest priced biggest tourist trap in Oregon. I avoid places like that with a passion ! No thanks, not for me.

I'm pretty new here, but this looks like a great annual excursion with a lot of history. I had to go back to 2006 to figure out the history and what your acronym means! It looks like both Ubar & Cycle were actively working on the event 10 yrs ago too.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it as I'll have to take 3 days off of work, but I am going to try my darndest! I have limited $ (family man with 2 kids & a VERY understanding wife who let's me go on roadtrips), so staying in Sisters will probably be a 'No' for me too. That being said, perhaps those who don't want to camp in Sisters, or pay the big $ for a hotel in Sisters could always stay in Redmond or Bend which are cheaper and only a 1/2 hr away.

Fyi - I tried booking at the Sisters campground, but they don't show any spaces left for tenting, only trailers.

Just thought I'd throw another option out there. It'd be a shame for people not to go due to $. The main thing is that we all get out and ride right!?

The riding in the entire area is great. You are just on the east side of the Cascade Mt range and there are plenty of fun twisty roads in the area.

If your worried about hotels there are plenty in Bend (30 minutes) and Redmond (26 minutes)

How many of us are still going and is it still set for Sisters Or???
