Sisters would be a great place to hold the gathering! I believe it would be especially pleasing to the feminine members of the group. It is a touristy location with lots of good strolling-around areas and boutique shopping. A little something for everyone.

As mentioned above, for more economical lodging Redmond is a good candidate and a short ride to/from Sisters.

Central Oregon is a beautiful area and has become a bit overpriced...but it is what it is.

If this is the location, I'll try to make it and meet some of y'all.

How many of us are still going and is it still set for Sisters Or???
I'm still interested but, just been waiting for something to be decided. I've been too busy this year to try to arrange it. Bend works for me, or Redmond. Sounds like Sisters is a bust because of accommodations.

Somebody (whoever decides these things) needs to make an executive decision as to when and where and post it as such...everything so far just seems like speculation and we're in mid-August.

I won't be attending this one, but I have come to grips with Dates for Meet 'n Greets.

The very 1st post needs to just explicitly state:

This is the date that "I have set, and if ya'll wanna come, meet me there"

I learned that the hard way with trying to set up a bunch of little Ride To Eat MnG's here around me.

trying to get a consensus is totally impossible.

Pick a date that works for the weather, and go for it.

My 02 1800 has broken throttle cables. I just had it towed to Everett Power Sports on Friday. They didn't have the cable that goes to the cruise control in stock so it has to be ordered. I don't see my making a trip anywhere this coming week.
