I can't ride for longer than about 20 minutes after the mercury passes 82*

so, we will have to make it another time.

That is the prime reason, my daughter bought our new Toy hauler, we can ride in the Suburban under a/c and put my bike in the Toy Hauler's garage. the dogs are happy, and that makes us happy.

It's a southern thing, the farther south you go the sweeter it gets. In Gawga (Georgia) it's darn near syrup.

I don't remember having tea growing up. We was po, we had water, milk when the cow was giving it and lemonade on special occasions. I guess I'm not a real southerner as I don't like my tea real sweet.

Lol, my luck still holding out as far as rain.
When I bought the bike I rode long ways in storm, ever since it rains before or after I ride, occasionally I get very little sprinkles since but haven't been caught in rain. My luck is gonna give out soon. I keep expecting it to bust loose as it's been lightning and thundering when I ride, just no rain as of yet, 2 months and counting

I milked the same Jersey/Angus/Holstein cow for 13 years, she provided us with 14 quarts twice a day.

So, yes, had a lot of milk to drink growing up.

But, the one thing that was always on the lunch and supper table was ice tea, you put your own sugar in if you wanted it. No such thing as sucralose in those days.

Mom set out a gallon jar of fresh tea bags in the sun each morning, took it in at end of day, and it went to the fridge. That was tomorrow's iced tea for us.

The other thing that I remember so well, is chipped beef and gravy with biscuits. ummmmm

.

Took off at almost noon to Hardy, walked around for hour or so then rode on to Mammoth Springs for a couple hours, then back to Walnut Ridge

I was just about to call and see if you wanted to meet Thursday.
