i would like to put forward the suggestion that there be a "introduce yourself" forum be implemented for the newbie's, this will serve a dual purpose in that members will be able to have direct access to the newcomers in their own forum and it will make redwings job of welcoming them in that much easier so he doesn't have to chase them through the barrage of post to find them..

just my 2 cents

I like that idea....... Not sure if it's possible, but what if the only forum available to the newbies was that one, so their first post would have to go there. Then, everything should be open....IMHO

It might also make it a bit harder for spammers if they cant go straight to the marks...

I can see the problem with a seperate forum ,, (1)The newbies will still post in all the forums ,(2) the other members will just leave it up to someone else to welcome them and they will end up with no welcome,(3) the spammers will be able to find them all in one place .,and do we really need another forum ,It works fine the way it is ,If I could just get REDWING to get off his neighbours 1800 foir an hour or 2 each day then he would be able to keep up with the welcomes ...Ciaran
