Been a long time coming, but early on the 5th of June we leave for Denver. Planning on leaving about 4:30 am and putting a few miles on before stopping for breakfast somewhere along 36 in MO. We are taking 36 all the way across into CO and Denver. Going to take two days for that leg and spend a couple of days with our daughter in Denver - she is graduating from Bel-rea Vet Tech school.

Then on the 10th we will go through Vail pass and drop into Ephraim, UT for a day visit with my sister, then leave in the morning of the 13th and go to Durango to visit friends, spend the night and on to Westcliffe,CO to visit my brother-in-law for a night. Then its' back through Denver and on up to Estes Park for the night. From there we are looking at going on north into Wyoming (Laramie or Cheyenne) and spend the day/evening sghtsweeing there, then on east to Omaha to see our niece's new baby boy (born today!), and then on home to Jacksonville, IL. Planning on being back home sometime on the 20th or 21st. We will ride through 9 states, cover over 3,000 miles in just over two weeks.

Would love to tell everyone along the route when we will be there, but just don't know at this point in time.

We will take tons of photos and post an album when we get back. Really looking forward to this ride.

Now that sounds like a sweet trip. You know, you can take a laptop and give us a play by play, as you travel.

Just because you\'re a paranoid doesn\'t mean they\'re not out to get you.

Most of our stops will have a computer available, so I will try to get some posts in along the way.

Here's wishing you a safe ride. Sounds like your going to be busy. Lots of scenery in between your visits, bet you get side tracked every now and then.

Looks to be a great trip you have plannedTerry.

I liked travelling along 36, especially through the Hannibal area. Not much traffic either! I'm sure you'll enjoy the scenery!

Have a safe journey and report in when you can, to let us know how you are getting on.

Cheers, Ken

We took the same route last year, but had to detour south out of Norton,KS so my buddy could get his HD repaired. We are going to make it all the way this time.

Just one more day!

Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
