New photos of earth, stitched together over time. Good resolution, nice to look at... And a comparison of technology over time...

Ok, I don't get it. If you are going to take many pictures over several months time and stitch them together, why leave so much cloud cover in?

For example, the entire north east is under cloud cover. Out of several months, don't you think they could get at least one picture of the north east without cloud cover and stitch that one in?

My thinking is that in a project such as this, it would be a nice picture to be able to see the entire land mass. I want to see home.

The clouds are probably there because some JACKA** at NASA who lives in HOUSTON (which as we all know, is in the TROPICS) thought they looked "purdy". Ok, he/she is right; they are.

I was thinking the same thing though- how classic that the Pacific Northwest is under the "swirl" off of Alaska. I guess we should stop complaining though, since it looks like there's a hurricane going on up on the plains of Alberta....

I DO think that "Earthrise" is a justifiably famous (and fabulous) photo...we sure got a "new perspective" from that one!

And imagine, as small a spec as you are on this planet, this planet is just as small a spec in the galaxy. And the galaxy is as small a spec in the universe.
