Sure going to miss Jimmy Dean...He may have not been the greatest singer in the world, but his recipe for sausage goes back many many years to his mother and my grandmother...They were sisters....So that recipe I have eaten before it became a household staple....My mother made her sausage from that recipe....No I won't be attending and services, because the family parted ways many years ago....Once Jimmy became a "Star" he cut ties to the family.....RIP Jimmy....

He was in a James Bond movie, "Diamonds are Forever", as Willard Whyte. I love those old commercials he used to do and I've always liked "Big Bad John". Sad to see the old ones go.

Being a 'porker' doesn't make you kind of a relative.

Hey appeared in a few of the Daniel Boone TV shows didn't he? I can remember him singing on some of the old variety shows that my parents would watch. Always seemed like a "down home" type of guy.
