This post has a two fold purpose.

(First) I want to thank Dusty Boots and Cousin Jack for putting up with all my PM's about tents.

They shared their knowledge of tent camping to me and what to look for, etc.etc. and it ended up saving me a lot of money (and probably headaches) plus I found a tent that I will be using with my Motorcycle for years to come that suits ME.

(Second) I wanted to share the deal I found that would be good til the end of this month.

http://www.rei.com/product/798691/al...nt-special-buy

First you join REI for $20.00 and that gives you a lifetime membership.

Second I have an internet coupon code: OUT2MAY

Put this in on checkout when they ask for internet coupons.

This is how mine added up:

I got the Tent, 10 MSR ground hogs, lifetime membership, free shipping, with taxes it is coming delivered for a few pennies over $181.00

I guess you could opt out of the lifetime membership, but you are basically getting it for a little over $8.00 because without it you pay around 12 dollars in shipping.

thanks for the link Dusty !

I hope this gives someone on the forum a new tent.

So what sort of tent did you get? A Eureka timberline?

PS... oh... I see it... cool beans! Those "clip" style tents are easy to set up... that one looks like it would be big enough to stand up in well enough to get your pants on... that's a requirement for me.
