Bob (and Deb) know what I mean.

Everytime he phones me from down there, he has to make a point of the temps , as he's walking out through the sliding door, to the pool, with a nice cold (andinexpensive)beer in hand, ribbing mehow great the riding weather has been etc etc etc.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!

One of these years he will talk me into bringing the bike down for a few months of riding down there ... but I'll warn ya! ....the place won't be the same after!

Thanks for these pictures Ned..

We own a 2007 Goldwing with 65,000 KM ( 39,000 Mi. ) on it.

The best part about owning a wing is you know what your next bike is going to be. ( We know, we just bought our 3rd Goldwing )

What can I say, just another great ride in paradise. (without the rain too)

Little morning fog stimulated some concentration to be sure, but well rewarded by an excellent breakfast at Paul's over in Wauchula (north of Zolfo Springs, west of Sebring) many thanks Mike.

We rode over to St Pete via the Big Bridge thanks to Bob and then up through the "Beaches" along CR699. (Thank you Snow Birds for adding to the county coffers)

Made it home before the rains hit too. (Yesterday sure tested my new gutter work)

Almost forgot, one of the best camping spots on the planet is Fort De Soto Park, south of St Petersburg. It's a mature park with tall trees and such offering seclusion. Fishing and snorkeling are tops (in the summer for me) The old fort is still there offering much to see as well.

By the way, I'm still on for NASSIR 5 up in Eureka Springs.

I'm glad you're there to keep the 'Birds' out of trouble, Ned!

I stayed out at the Sheraton Sand Keys, by Clearwater and loved that area of the Gulf side!

Maybe, in a winter, or two, there will be an additional Bird down there for youto keep out of trouble. .... maybe.

One of these years! ....

+1

Snow is melting fast up here, but then its sand season so about another 2-3 weeks before I'd even chance bringing it out of storage.

When are you heading back north, Hawggy?

Ride Safe.
